As a Senior Design Engineer within the Innovation and Enabling team, you will be expected to bring deep curiosity, technical rigor, and creative problem-solving to create new and interesting solutions that disrupt and de-risk the most challenging features.  You will work to uncover unmet solutions, ideate creative ways to solve technical problems, and be the technical expert in the creation and execution of concepts that deliver best-in-class luxury appliances for our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead early phase product definition by translating customer business and regulatory needs into system requirements through cross-functional collaboration
  • Drive design and integration of embedded software, wiring electromechanical and thermal subsystems into manufacturable products
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to meet timelines and production readiness goals
  • Evaluate designs using modeling, simulation, benchmarking, testing and data analysis
  • Participate in and facilitate ideation activities to generate innovative concepts
  • Develop prototypes and execute verification and validation test plans

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Over 6 years of experience in engineering product development or early-stage innovation
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on capability in mechanical and thermal systems
  • Able to clearly communicate complex technical concepts across all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
