Structural Design Engineer

Work Model:

What You Will Do:

• Design and analyze structures using engineering calculations and software
• Prepare calculations and specifications for projects
• Start CAD drawings or markup drawings for drafters (AutoCAD & Revit)
• Collaborate with engineers in the office or contractors and other professionals on project design needs
• Go on on-site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• 7 or more years of direct experience – P.E. license required
• Experience with industrial projects preferred; commercial projects in related fields will be considered
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate well in a small office and excitement about going on-site to learn
