Controller

Palmer Group is seeking a Controller to manage accounting operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives for our client. This role will oversee month-end close processes, ensure financial reporting compliance, provide financial analysis, and lead budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, and strong knowledge of ERP systems. Apply today!

What You Will Do:

• Lead and optimize accounting operations, policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Manage outsourced accounting functions and develop a high-performing team through cross-functional training
• Oversee month-end close processes, account reconciliations, customer setup, and billing accuracy
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Develop and report key financial and operational metrics
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and profitability reporting processes
• Provide financial analysis, business insights, and performance recommendations, particularly for the Aftermarket business segment
• Partner with Operations to identify revenue, expense, and profitability improvement opportunities
• Coordinate audit support and ensure compliance with external reporting requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes and field operations

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong ERP systems knowledge and experience
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
