They are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to assist them in determining structural feasibility. This is an excellent opportunity to jump on board and help a growing company. Responsibilities:
- Calculate the loads and stresses on structures
- Determine if a structure can be built and function safely
- Coordinate with the detailer for design work as needed
- Check the accuracy of design, dimensions, and tolerances in conformance with engineering standards
- Produce accurate BOMs
Requirements:
- Experience working with structural steel
- Experience with AutoCAD, RISA, and Mathcad is highly desired
- Proficient in MS Office
- Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a structural emphasis
- Ability to obtain FE within 1 year
