Chief Financial Officer

A growth-focused organization is seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead Finance and Accounting while playing a central role in driving company expansion. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities, structure transactions, and deploy capital to support mergers and acquisitions.

The CFO will help transform strategy into action, supporting deal execution, uncovering value, and guiding complex financial decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. What You Will Do:

• Lead financial strategy by overseeing all U.S. finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, tax, and regulatory compliance
• Enable growth and M&A execution through evaluation of acquisition opportunities, support of due diligence and negotiations, and management of post‑acquisition financial integration
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business unit leaders by helping define financial objectives and actively enabling progress toward those objectives
• Strengthen teams and talent by recruiting, guiding, and coaching high‑performing teams across finance, accounting, purchasing, and IT while implementing performance standards and succession plans
• Manage operational excellence by maintaining robust internal controls and optimizing shared services spanning AR/AP, payroll, benefits, insurance, 401(k), purchasing, and IT
• Steer IT and systems direction by shaping cost‑conscious technology strategies and scalable systems that support long‑term growth
• Foster culture and accountability by reinforcing transparency, ownership, and results‑driven accountability across teams and functions

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of senior-level finance and leadership experience
• M&A, banking, and multi-industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and financial governance
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and influence across organizational levels
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
