Part-Time Bookkeeper – Mother’s Hours

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join their team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper! In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting payroll and compliance activities. Work Model:

• Hybrid
• 25 – 30 hours per week
• 8:00AM – 1:00PM
• Monday – Friday

What You Will Do:

• Monitor bank balances and track upcoming bill payments using QuickBooks
• Process vendor invoices and prepare payments
• Process bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately
• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and manage recurring expenses
• Calculate and remit Iowa withholding taxes and sales tax
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of quarterly payroll tax returns and annual W-2s and 1099s

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• At least 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Competence with QuickBooks
• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing procedures and tax regulations
• Outstanding attention-to-detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage deadlines simultaneously
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with strong organization and dependability
