Our client is an established, fast-growing HVAC service provider committed to delivering reliable, energy-efficient solutions to residential and commercial clients. As they build their presence and expand into new markets, they are searching for a motivated and personable Business Development Representative to support the development of client relationships, generate leads, and build a strong customer base from the ground up. In this role, you'll serve as the brand's ambassador in a new territory—engaging with potential clients, introducing them to the company's offerings, and guiding them toward lasting partnerships. What you will do:

  • Recognize and pursue potential business opportunities in residential and commercial HVAC markets
  • Foster strong relationships with contractors, homeowners, property managers, and facility directors
  • Perform outreach via networking, phone, email, and in-person visits
  • Inform potential clients about available HVAC services, maintenance plans, and energy-efficient solutions
  • Partner with operations and service teams to facilitate a smooth transition and overall customer satisfaction
  • Maintain records of leads, opportunities, and follow-ups in CRM systems
  • Serve as a representative of the company at trade shows, local events, and industry meetups
  • Share market feedback with leadership to assist in shaping strategy and offerings

What you will need to be successful:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing positions
  • Background in HVAC, industrial or facilities management, or mechanical services (preferred)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of motivation with a drive to seek out opportunities and a passion for cultivating relationships
  • Capable of working independently and excelling in a dynamic, evolving market
  • Proficiency with basic sales reporting and CRM tools
  • Willingness to attend periodic evening/weekend functions and travel locally
