Our client, an established public accounting firm in Northeast Iowa, is seeking an experienced CPA to step into a leadership-track role as part of a planned succession. What You Will Do:

  • Serve as lead preparer and reviewer on complex business and individual tax engagements
  • Review returns and financial work prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting growth and training initiatives
  • Manage engagement timelines and ensure client deadlines are met
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships through consultative advisory support
  • Participate in client meetings, planning conversations, and strategic discussions
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, technology, and overall firm operations

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • CPA license with 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong technical knowledge in business and individual taxation
  • Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff
  • Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and confidence
  • Desire to work in a relationship-driven, community-focused environment
  • Willingness to be on-site for collaboration and client engagement
