Contract Accountant

What You Will Do:

• Assist with general ledger review and support month-end close activities, helping ensure accuracy and internal controls
• Contribute to a major ERP migration by participating in data validation, testing, and process documentation
• Support payroll functions, including reconciliation with the ledger and process consolidation efforts
• Provide backup support for accounts payable and receivable, helping maintain daily finance operations
• Help create and update procedures to improve clarity and prepare for audits
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to identify process improvements and ensure project success

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and debits/credits
• Experience working with payroll and ledger reconciliations is a plus
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze processes and suggest improvements
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment with limited documentation
• Exposure to ERP systems and familiarity with payroll platforms  preferred
• Previous involvement in system upgrades or process redesigns
