The Purchasing position is responsible for leading purchasing activities, developing and executing sourcing strategies for manufacturing materials, components, and services. This role focuses on supplier selection, cost optimization, contract negotiation, and ensuring supply continuity while maintaining quality and compliance standards. What You Will Do:

  • Developed and executed sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Identified, evaluated, and onboarded suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, and reliability
  • Negotiated contracts, pricing, and terms while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Monitored and managed supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics
  • Oversaw purchase orders and inventory levels, setting reorder points to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Resolved and coordinated supplier issues, including delays, compliance concerns, and quality discrepancies

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, supplier management, and data analysis
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with clear and effective communication skills
  • Proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
