What You Will Do:

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the Physician and Dental programs, analyzing performance data, market trends, and risks to identify growth opportunities and ensure profitability
• Lead, motivate, and oversee program staff, including the VP of Business Development, Dental Sales Manager, and Dental Account Executive, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence
• Serve as the main advocate for the programs in senior leadership forums, presenting insights and recommendations to shape organizational direction
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, marketing, finance, and business development teams to evaluate and implement strategic initiatives
• Manage risk through effective risk management strategies, aiming to improve loss prevention, enhance profitability, and maximize customer value
• Stay ahead of market trends by analyzing competitive positioning and adjusting underwriting, pricing, or product offerings as needed
• Perform other duties that support the growth and efficiency of our client's professional liability programs

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Proven leadership experience in sales, business development, or management within the insurance industry
• 8-10 years of experience in professional liability insurance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid understanding of insurance products, practices, and procedures
• Must acquire a Property and Casualty license within the first four months of employment
• Insurance designations such as CIC, CPCU, or RPLU
• Experience in strategic planning and program management
• Familiarity with market analysis and competitive positioning
• Prior experience working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and claims teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced certifications (preferred)
• 8-10 years of leadership experience in insurance sales or business development (preferred)
• 5-7 years of specialized experience in professional liability insurance (preferred)
