A well-established, locally owned retail business in the Cedar Rapids Corridor is seeking an Accounting & Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative small-business environment, and takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly. You'll play a key role in supporting accounting, operations, payroll, inventory, and administrative functions while working closely with leadership and an outsourced accounting partner.

Work Model:

What You Will Do:

  • Reconcile daily sales activity, deposits, and operational reports
  • Process accounts payable, payroll support, and commission tracking
  • Coordinate with an outsourced accounting partner to support month-end activities
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with POS system administration
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as business needs evolve

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, office administration, or operations
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and other business software (POS experience is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A proactive, dependable attitude with a willingness to learn and wear multiple hats
