Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and improve quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a composites manufacturing environment. This role partners with customers, suppliers, engineering, and production teams to ensure products meet defined specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. What You Will Do:

  • Maintain and improve quality management systems and manufacturing quality processes
  • Develop and implement inspection, testing, and calibration procedures
  • Support customer, regulatory, and compliance audits
  • Investigate product and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage product deviations, quality notifications, and nonconformance activities
  • Partner with engineering teams on document control, quality planning, and process improvements
  • Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations and supply chain activities
  • Communicate quality requirements and performance expectations with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Experience working with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing quality methods, inspection processes, and metrology principles
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives using Lean, statistical analysis, or structured problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to conduct root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions
  • Experience supporting supplier quality, customer quality requirements, and cross-functional manufacturing teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related systems
