Human Resources Generalist

Palmer Group has partnered with our client in their search for a Human Resources Generalist! This role supports all areas of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits administration, employee relations, HR records, and compliance. This role will also act as a key resource for employees and managers while helping ensure a positive workplace culture and compliance with employment laws. Apply now!

What You Will Do:

• Manage recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
• Serve as a resource for employee and manager HR inquiries
• Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
• Manage HR documentation, employee records, and HRIS data
• Coordinate training programs and track required employee training
• Administer benefits, leave programs, and employment-related documentation
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in HR; experience in manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of employee relations, FMLA, benefits, and employment law
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• SHRM-CP/PHR certification and Paylocity experience are a plus
