We are assisting our global manufacturing client in their search for an Industrial Maintenance Lead at their Eastern Iowa facility. This is a new role as our client expands its 2nd-shift operations. You'll be responsible for leading and supporting maintenance staff during the assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient production. Other duties include troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, interpreting technical drawings, and assisting with assembly and machine builds. This position will receive in-house training for the first 90 days on the 1st shift, then transition to 2nd-shift operations. If you are looking to take the next step in your career, apply today!  

Work model:

  • On-Site
  • 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • Monday – Thursday
  • Hours adjust for holidays

What you will do:

  • Lead and direct shift staff, ensuring workflow and productivity goals
  • Troubleshoot equipment and resolve quality issues
  • Communicate shift updates to leadership and maintenance teams
  • Coach and support less experienced employees
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and participate in improvement initiatives

What you will need to be successful:

  • Industrial Technician Certificate or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • 4–6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs
  • Leadership and communication skills
