The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership while serving as the primary representative of the Association within the industry and broader community. This role is responsible for strengthening membership engagement, advancing advocacy efforts, and ensuring the organization remains financially and operationally strong. The CEO will collaborate closely with leadership, staff, and external partners to drive long-term growth and influence. What You Will Do:

  • Lead member engagement initiatives by promoting membership value supporting member needs and representing the organization at meetings and industry events
  • Direct organizational operations by overseeing staff recruitment performance management vendor relationships and the delivery of high-quality programs and services
  • Guide governance and strategic planning by partnering with the Board managing committees and executing key organizational priorities and long-term goals
  • Manage financial performance by developing overseeing and maintaining the annual budget while ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability
  • Drive advocacy and industry collaboration by leading government affairs efforts building relationships with legislators and serving as a key spokesperson with industry stakeholders

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance with an understanding of independent agents and carrier relationships
  • Strong communication abilities with a proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Leadership experience managing teams working with Boards and engaging volunteers effectively
  • Ability to influence stakeholders navigate complex environments and represent organizational interests at a high level
