Industrial Engineer

The Industrial Engineer will support manufacturing operations by evaluating production methods, optimizing capacity, and improving overall efficiency across the facility. This role is responsible for developing manufacturing plans for new products, establishing production routings, forecasting labor and resource requirements, and leading improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance. What You Will Do:

• Analyze production processes, workflows, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
• Forecast manufacturing capacity and labor requirements to support production needs and business growth
• Develop manufacturing routings and process plans for new and existing products
• Evaluate product designs and recommend manufacturability improvements prior to production launch
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, throughput, quality, and cost reduction
• Plan and execute capital equipment and facility improvement projects
• Support new product introductions by providing process data, capacity analysis, and operational input
• Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions

What You Will Need to Be Successful: 

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline preferred
• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing capacity planning, labor forecasting, and production analysis
• Knowledge of manufacturing process development, workflow optimization, and factory routing methods
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Must be eligible to work in a regulated manufacturing environment requiring compliance with applicable export control regulations
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, medical device, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Lean or continuous improvement certification
• Experience managing capital expenditure projects
• Background in manufacturability assessments and new product introduction activities
