Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and service an established book of business. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, Sales Advisors, and insurance carriers to deliver timely, accurate service and build strong long-term relationships. This role is based in Cedar Rapids, Waverly, or West Des Moines, with hybrid flexibility after training (no fully remote option). Apply today!

What You Will Do:​​​​​​

• Act as the primary contact for commercial clients
• Manage the policy lifecycle, including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and audits
• Review policies for accuracy and coordinate corrections with carriers
• Process account changes and maintain accurate documentation
• Issue certificates, policy documents, and other client materials
• Resolve billing issues, audit discrepancies, and premium concerns
• Support claims process in partnership with internal teams
• Assist with marketing accounts, preparing submissions, and obtaining quotes
• Collaborate with Sales Advisors on renewals, proposals, and client meetings

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Property & Casualty license (required)
• Experience in commercial insurance (multi-line preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Client-focused with relationship management experience
