This role will be responsible for performing and supporting non‑destructive examinations to ensure manufactured components meet established quality and regulatory requirements. The position will support in‑process inspection activities within a high‑technology manufacturing environment and serve as a technical resource for the application, interpretation, and compliance of approved non‑destructive examination programs. What You Will Do:

  • Perform ultrasonic, radiographic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual inspections on in‑process materials
  • Verify product conformance to quality requirements through proper application of non‑destructive examination techniques
  • Support joint problem‑solving with operations, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain compliance with specifications
  • Act as a technical resource for interpretation and application of approved non‑destructive examination programs
  • Maintain required inspection, training, certification, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure inspection programs align with applicable industry codes and standards
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient operation of inspection equipment and facilities
  • Support internal quality audits and external supplier audits
  • Assist with equipment and process decisions that support long‑term operational needs
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Associate degree in Non‑Destructive Testing, Non‑Destructive Testing Technology diploma or certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience performing magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, radiographic, or visual inspections
  • Working knowledge of applicable non‑destructive examination methods and inspection practices
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, codes, and inspection criteria
  • ASNT and/or AWS certifications (preferred)
  • Experience supporting inspection activities in a manufacturing or quality environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and ISO 9000 (preferred)
