Credit and Collections Coordinator

Palmer Group is working with a growing client in their search for a Credit and Collections Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable, performing administrative tasks, and handling all other aspects of credit. What You Will Do:

• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections
• Communicate professionally with customers to resolve billing issues and maintain relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams to address short payments and discrepancies
• Review and process credit applications, including running credit checks and verifying documentation
• Set up and maintain customer accounts in ERP systems with accurate data
• Recommend updates to credit terms and limits based on account activity
• Identify accounts requiring prepayment and coordinate with billing and customers
• Maintain reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for month-end and internal meetings
• Create prebills and input billing data as needed
• Support miscellaneous projects and respond promptly to internal and external communications

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Prior collections experience
• High school diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic accounting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
