Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller supports accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for farming operations and investment funds. Work Model:

• On-Site

What You Will Do:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and month‑end close
• Support budgeting and maintain financial forecasts
• Perform variance analysis in partnership with operations
• Prepare quarterly Board reporting (financials, KPIs, business updates)
• Review fund and partnership financials and coordinate annual audits
• Maintain accounting systems and support special projects (tax, construction, data/IT) and ad hoc needs

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance
• 3+ years public accounting (audit + reporting experience)
• Strong analytical skills; adaptable in dynamic environments
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
• CPA and ERP experience preferred
• Exposure to IT/data/AI and the agriculture industry is a plus
