We are seeking a hands-on Network & Systems Supervisor to lead day-to-day infrastructure operations while remaining deeply technical across systems, networking, automation, and platform engineering initiatives. This role combines team leadership with active engineering responsibilities and serves as a key point of escalation for complex infrastructure issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of network and systems professionals, including performance management, hiring, coaching, and professional growth
  • Oversee team workload, project prioritization, and infrastructure delivery while serving as a senior escalation point for complex systems, networking, and incident issues
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, documentation, change management, monitoring, patching, backup, and recovery practices
  • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, incident response, KPI tracking, and infrastructure roadmap planning while collaborating with IT leadership, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Manage and secure infrastructure environments, including Linux (Ubuntu), Windows Server, enterprise networking (switches, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, firewalls), Active Directory, IAM, SIEM monitoring, compliance, and remediation
  • Design and automate infrastructure using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, GitLab CI/CD, and containerized environments

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 5-7 years of infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering experience
  • 1-2 years of leadership, mentoring, or supervisory responsibility
  • Strong Linux systems administration combined with experience managing Windows or mixed environments
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using Ansible and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell, along with support for incident response, change management, and operational planning
  • Solid networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls) plus exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), IAM, secrets management, certificate lifecycle automation, SIEM tools, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, NIST)
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MSSQL, high-availability infrastructure concepts, and willingness to work in data center environments (including lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Certifications are a plus, but equivalent experience is valued
