The Director – Reconciliation Operations role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a critical investment operations function within a growing investment management environment. You will partner closely with senior leaders and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of investment data across a sophisticated multi-asset platform. What You Will Do:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing reconciliation team as the function scales
  • Oversee daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and investment transactions across internal systems, custodians, and counterparties
  • Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation breaks through escalation, documentation, and root-cause analysis
  • Partner with Investment, Trading, Accounting, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency
  • Serve as the reconciliation subject matter expert for new products, system enhancements, process improvements, and service provider relationships
  • Drive automation, workflow optimization, reporting, and operational metrics to improve scalability and reduce risk

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Experience leading and developing teams while building, enhancing, or scaling operational functions within financial services
  • Significant experience in investment operations, reconciliations, fund accounting, asset management, or related disciplines supported by a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of investment products and operational processes across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, structured credit, alternative investments, and private markets
  • Previous experience in investment accounting, portfolio management, or reconciliation platforms, along with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced, evolving environments
