As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind keeping our client's Yadkinville, NC facility running smoothly and safely during the third shift. What You Will Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities during the 3rd shift to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations
  • Manage and lead the maintenance team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to promote a high-performing workforce
  • Oversee and direct all capital projects at the Yadkinville facility, ensuring timely completion within budget and safety standards
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety protocols, GMP, and food safety standards, fostering a safe and clean work environment
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, packaging equipment, refrigeration units, and landscaping to identify issues and coordinate prompt repairs
  • Collaborate with production departments to analyze and optimize machinery and process efficiency, implementing improvements as needed
  • Manage and control maintenance inventory and spare parts to ensure readiness for emergencies and routine repairs

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in engineering and maintenance, including at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven expertise in maintaining and improving production equipment, facilities, refrigeration, packaging machinery, and landscaping
  • Experience with food safety initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Knowledge of food safety programs and ability to lead food safety and quality compliance efforts
