We are seeking an experienced and strategic Payroll Manager to lead North American payroll operations across the United States and Canada. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while driving operational excellence, process improvements, and team development. What You Will Do:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, reporting cycles, audits, filings, and remittances in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing payroll team while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement process enhancements, technology solutions, and automation opportunities to improve payroll operations and employee experience
  • Monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements to drive operational excellence and payroll performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors while providing payroll insights, reporting, and escalation support

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; CPP or PCP certification preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive payroll experience, including experience in a leadership role
  • Expertise in U.S. and Canadian payroll processing and tax compliance
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS integrations
  • Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP GlobalView for payroll processing and reporting
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
