Customer Service Annuities Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Annuities Specialist to support the processing and tracking of client fund transfers. This role is responsible for coordinating transfer activities, communicating with clients and financial institutions, resolving transfer issues, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process. What You Will Do:

• Make outbound calls to clients and financial institutions to initiate and track fund transfers, including 1035 exchanges, rollovers, and direct checks
• Monitor transfer status and proactively follow up on pending paperwork, missing signatures, and delayed transfer requests
• Identify and resolve transfer-related issues by coordinating with internal processing teams and external firms
• Maintain accurate records of client communications, transfer notes, and status updates within company systems and databases
• Respond to client inquiries regarding transfer timelines, requirements, documentation, and next steps
• Ensure transfer processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures while providing exceptional customer service

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience working with annuity products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and exercise sound judgment
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Bring experience within a New Business department in the insurance industry and familiarity with transfer processing, including 1035 exchanges, rollovers, and annuity funding transactions
