What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with the preconstruction team and project managers to develop accurate conceptual and detailed project estimates, ensuring alignment with project scope and client requirements
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs across all construction systems, accurately assessing material and labor needs
• Prepare comprehensive project estimates both independently and as part of a team, ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing for budgeting, bid proposals, and value engineering opportunities
• Scope and select subcontractors based on best value, project specifications, and quality standards
• Record final estimates and maintain a detailed cost history to inform future project planning and cost control
• Create, monitor, and manage project scope documentation to ensure alignment with bids, budgets, and client expectations

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Strong proficiency in performing quantity take-offs across various construction systems
• Ability to create precise estimates both individually and collaboratively
• Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids for budgeting and proposals
• Knowledge of scope management, cost history documentation, and project scope tracking
• Skill in utilizing cost-modeling systems like Uniformat II and familiarity with CSI standards
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related engineering field
• Prior internship or experience in estimating, construction management, or related roles
