As a Payroll Coordinator within their company, you will play a crucial role on the payroll team, focusing on processing multi-state payroll. What You Will Do:

• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for employee compensation questions, ensuring timely and accurate guidance across the organization
• Participate in end‑to‑end payroll execution, including validation of time data and application of complex pay rules
• Review payroll outputs for accuracy by identifying discrepancies, researching root causes, and resolving issues
• Manage compliance‑related reporting requirements tied to specialized labor programs and certifications
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by supporting system enhancements, resolving processing challenges, and refining workflows
• Assist with communication and knowledge sharing related to payroll processes, including documentation, training support, and participation in cross‑functional meetings
• Collaborate with leadership and internal partners to deliver dependable, efficient pay solutions that align with broader business needs

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related degree
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Union payroll experience advantageous
• General knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is helpful 
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
