The Senior Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of advanced automotive and IoT‑enabled electronic systems used in safety‑critical applications. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to deliver reliable, scalable hardware solutions, while also contributing to new product innovation, lifecycle management, and technical decision‑making.

What You Will Do:

  • Engineer automotive‑connected electro‑mechanical systems using embedded processors, sensing, and control logic
  • Create and debug mixed‑signal hardware from schematics through PCB layout and board bring‑up
  • Implement and maintain wired and wireless interfaces including USB, UART, I2C, CAN, Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular, and IoT integrations
  • Collaborate across disciplines to translate requirements into designs and deliver iteratively in agile workflows
  • Integrate custom electronics with commercial hardware while managing configuration, documentation, and product lifecycle
  • Develop validation strategies, build test fixtures, troubleshoot failures with root‑cause analysis, and coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve production issues

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 4+ years in electronics design and hardware development
  • Proficient in PCB layout, schematic creation, and manufacturing documentation
  • Understanding of automotive or vehicle‑related electronic systems
  • Experience with embedded communication protocols such as USB, UART, I2C, CAN, Bluetooth, WiFi, and OBD‑II
  • Familiarity with PLM tools, with Arena experience preferred
  • Effective collaboration with manufacturing and test teams in production environments
