Work Model:

What You Will Do:

• Oversee and mentor a team of CADD technicians to ensure accurate and efficient drafting of civil engineering documents
• Prepare detailed drawings, documents, schedules, and specifications using MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Develop and update construction documents and records to support project needs
• Operate plan reproduction equipment to produce high-quality deliverables
• Observe and inspect work performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, codes, and safety standards
• Inspect construction sites for quality control and report variances or issues
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate project details and resolve issues
• Assist survey technicians with fieldwork, including operation of Trimble GPS and Trimble Office equipment

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Associate's degree in civil engineering, technology, or a similar discipline
• 6+ years of experience in civil CADD drafting, with leadership responsibilities
• Expertise in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proven ability to oversee and mentor a team of CADD technicians
