Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions while supporting sales tax filings, 1099 reporting, bank reconciliations, and management reporting. This role ensures financial transactions are processed accurately and on time while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Apply now!

What You Will Do:

• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, deposits, and collections
• Process accounts payable, including vendor invoice review, PO-to-AP matching, and payment discrepancy resolution
• Record invoices, cash receipts, and journal entries in Accounting Seed
• Process credit memos, RMAs, and customer account adjustments as needed
• Assist with sales and use tax filings and 1099 reporting, including gathering and maintaining W-9 documentation
• Support bank reconciliations, credit reporting, and other accounting functions
• Prepare and distribute management and financial reports
• Respond promptly to customer and vendor inquiries
• Open and distribute mail and provide backup support for office staff
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and shipping teams to support company objectives and customer satisfaction

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Some college-level accounting coursework or equivalent accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
