Palmer Group is searching for an Operations Manager to join our client's team to manage daily activities, mentor employees, drive safety initiatives, and analyze performance metrics. What You Will Do:

• Assist the General Manager in creating and implementing strategic operational plans to drive efficiency, growth, and sustainability
• Manage daily operational activities and waste collection, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop drivers and operations personnel to foster a high-performance team environment
• Approve employee timecards, participate in staffing processes, and ensure proper scheduling to meet operational demands
• Drive safety initiatives by promoting a safety-first culture and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Organize onboarding and ongoing training for employees to maintain required skills and certifications
• Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to address and resolve service issues, maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Evaluate operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions and process enhancements

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams in operational settings
• Exposure to route optimization and logistics coordination
• Familiarity with OSHA or other safety certifications
• Knowledge of relevant software and technology tools
