What You Will Do:

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoicing, including resolving discrepancies and monitoring collections
• Complete month-end accounting activities and prepare accurate, timely financial reports for ownership
• Analyze job costs, customer and department profitability, labor expenses, overtime, and production efficiency
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting, and help develop forecasting and reporting that inform business decisions
• Collaborate with ownership and team members to improve accounting processes using Excel, ERP tools, and new technology

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Accounting experience with a solid understanding of daily accounting operations and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills, including working with pivot tables and organizing financial information
• Experience with accounting or ERP software and a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail, dependable follow-through, and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• A personable, collaborative approach, willingness to take ownership, and interest in learning the business and improving processes.
