Software Developer – BIM

A local company is seeking a Software Developer – BIM to support the creation of tools that enhance efficiency and innovation within the BIM/VDC function. This role is dedicated to BIM/VDC development, including building Revit add-ins and related integrations, and works within established DevOps practices and standards. Apply today!

What You Will Do:

• Support the BIM/VDC team by creating software tools (such as Revit add-ins) that streamline workflows and improve overall productivity
• Design and integrate software solutions that enhance BIM/VDC capabilities and operational efficiency
• Maintain and contribute to development documentation and design standards followed by the team
• Write, test, debug, and troubleshoot code throughout the software development lifecycle
• Research, design, implement, and manage software applications
  Identify opportunities to improve existing applications and develop enhancements accordingly

• Follow established Git workflows, including branching strategies and merge request best practices

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Experience with C# and/or .NET development, including building Revit add-ins or similar extensions
• Experience or exposure to Dynamo scripting and Python for BIM automation workflows
• Familiarity with Autodesk Platform Services or Forge APIs for cloud-based BIM integrations
• Experience using Git for version control with established branching and collaboration practices
• Understanding or exposure to BIM/VDC workflows and construction industry processes preferred
