Our client is searching for a Financial Analyst to support accounting operations, treasury activities, grant compliance, and financial reporting while providing analysis that supports informed business decisions. This role partners with finance leadership and stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure accurate financial records, effective cash management, compliance with funding requirements, and meaningful financial insights.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform accounting and financial analysis activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting
  • Support treasury and cash management functions by monitoring cash activity, assisting with forecasting, managing banking relationships, and analyzing liquidity needs
  • Assist with grant administration and restricted funding activities, including expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, and compliance with funding requirements
  • Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, dashboards, and management reports that support strategic planning and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting, provide financial guidance, and support budgeting and planning initiatives
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities by preparing documentation, schedules, and financial information
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial reporting capabilities

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Two to five years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, treasury, audit, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP, accounting, or financial management systems
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments
