We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support the design and development of heavy-duty vehicle components. In this role, you'll contribute to engineering analysis, product improvements, and new product development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions from concept through implementation. What You Will Do:

  • Copilot said: Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design activities
  • Assist senior engineers with project execution and technical documentation
  • Support low-complexity engineering projects from design through implementation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to achieve project goals
  • Evaluate and optimize designs for performance, safety, reliability, and compliance
  • Develop and maintain drawings, specifications, layouts, and bills of materials
  • Select appropriate materials, parts, and components through engineering analysis
  • Provide technical support, resolve engineering issues, communicate project updates, and prepare reports, proposals, and presentations

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Internship or at least 6 months of relevant engineering experience
  • Knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle systems and components
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
