Business Operations & Accounting Specialist

Our client is an established organization in the Cedar Rapids area looking for a versatile Business Operations & Accounting Specialist to support its day-to-day financial and administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working across multiple areas of a business, and taking ownership of the details that keep an organization running effectively.

What You Will Do:

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping, transaction review, and account reconciliation
• Assist with accounts payable, payroll-related activities, and routine financial reporting
• Maintain accurate business, financial, and operational records
• Partner with internal leadership and external resources to research and resolve discrepancies
• Provide general administrative and operational support across the organization

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, office management, or business administration
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently
• A proactive, adaptable approach and comfort working in a small-business environment
