What You Will Do:

  • Design and develop distributed control systems (DCS), including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, tailored to customer specifications
  • Select appropriate products for bill of materials (BOM) creation and develop comprehensive sequences of operations (SOO) and engineering drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Support sales efforts through customer demos, technical proposals, and estimating work, contributing to business growth
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and field technicians to review product standards, improve processes, and ensure quality
  • Prepare engineering and project control submittals utilizing company-standard software and control formats.
  • Assist in project re-estimates based on control submittals and provide accurate as-built documentation post-project
  • Participate in turnover meetings, discussing project scope, safety, timelines, and ensuring smooth project handover
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering documentation, processes, and project tracking tools

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Strong knowledge of control system design, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for creating detailed engineering drawings
  • Experience with product selection, bill of materials (BOM), and sequence of operations development
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and field technicians
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
