Our client is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team! This role is responsible for leading the organization's vendor payment function and ensuring the efficient administration of payment processes, financial controls, and related accounting activities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position oversees the flow of payables transactions, supports organizational cash management objectives, maintains strong vendor partnerships, and promotes operational excellence across the finance function.

What You Will Do:

  • Direct and manage all activities related to vendor payments, ensuring financial obligations are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with organizational standards
  • Foster productive relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and business partners by providing responsive support and resolving payment-related concerns
  • Maintain effective financial controls and operating procedures that support compliance, reduce risk, and protect organizational resources
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes, leveraging technology and automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Analyze payment trends, spending patterns, and operational metrics to provide insight, support decision-making, and contribute to overall financial performance

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, finance, or a related business function, including experience supporting financial operations and process improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience working with accounting, ERP, or financial management systems
  • Knowledge of accounts payable best practices, financial controls, audit support activities, compliance requirements, and financial reporting processes
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build effective relationships, and work collaboratively
