What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to engineering projects of limited complexity in a support role under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, business support functions, and external suppliers to support project objectives
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to address technical questions and project-related matters
  • Assist senior engineers with the development of plans, designs, engineering analyses, calculations, and technical reports
  • Perform fundamental engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks while adhering to company procedures, industry standards, and engineering best practices

What You Will Need to Be Successful: 

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
  • Internship experience or six (6) months or more of related engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of automotive or heavy-duty vehicle systems and mechanical equipment
  • Experience using high-level CAD software for design and engineering applications
