What You Will Do:

  • Interact with customers in a positive, calm, and cooperative manner to answer questions, provide directions, and de-escalate conflict as needed
  • Identify passenger stop locations and explain costs of services, regulations, and transfer rules
  • Respond effectively to unusual and difficult situations, including emergencies, upset customers, customers with language or speech barriers, and customers with special needs
  • Record customer comments, complaints, commendations, and recommendations in the database
  • Process client applications and determine eligibility
  • Manage inventory and distribution of company documents
  • Maintain customer and client databases

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of customer service experience (high‑volume call center or public-facing role preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills with a courteous, patient, and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work off-hours shifts as required
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, manage databases, and accurately handle monetary transactions
  • Knowledge of Des Moines and surrounding areas; bilingual skills are a plus
