Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to oversee all facets of HR within their company. What You Will Do:

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing cross‑functional HR team overseeing talent attraction and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations and performance, learning and development, and HR operations
  • Partner with executive leadership and department heads to advise on complex and sensitive people‑related matters
  • Provide leadership coaching and strategic guidance to promote consistent, effective management practices across the organization
  • Oversee performance management frameworks and leadership development initiatives to strengthen organizational capability
  • Direct the development, maintenance, and consistent application of HR policies, translating policy into clear procedures and decision guides
  • Review compensation structures, classification plans, and pay practices, and develop recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable employee pay and accurate position classification
  • Ensure organizational compliance with employment laws and public‑sector regulations

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Demonstrated leadership strength with eight or more years of progressive human resources experience, including people management responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification preferred, such as SHRM SCP, SHRM CP, SPHR, or equivalent, with experience in unionized or public sector environments
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups, navigate conflict, and provide effective coaching at all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting workforce and organizational data to support strategic decision making
