Our client is searching for a Design Engineer to join their team! In this role, you will design and develop reliable, cost-effective mechanical components for heavy-duty vehicles. You will also support engineering analysis, design improvements, and new product development. Apply today!

What You Will Do:

  • Complete basic engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks
  • Assist senior engineers with designs, reports, and project work
  • Support low-complexity engineering projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
  • Assess designs for safety, reliability, and performance
  • Create and maintain layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Conduct engineering analysis to select appropriate parts, materials, and components
  • Provide technical support for production and resolve engineering issues
  • Prepare technical reports, quotations, presentations, and proposals
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, company policies, and drawing requirements
  • Communicate project status and technical information effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Internship or at least 6 months of relevant engineering experience
  • Knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle systems and components
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
